Hello! As many of you know, I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for the last 8 years with children on the autism spectrum. I take great pride in my work and find it to be extremely rewarding! In 2018, I attained my certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst which has allowed me to be more involved in the autism community.
I am excited to announce that I have been chosen by Global Autism Project to travel to SAUDI ARABIA in February 2020 as part of the skillcorps team to help train and collaborate at a new center with 12 students!
I have committed to fundraising a minimum of $5000 on behalf of the Global Autism Project. All donations to my Crowdrise page will fund parts of this Saudi trip as well as ongoing programs and services provided by Global Autism Project. The funds for this fundraiser are supporting individuals on the autism spectrum in Saudi and other communities worldwide. Global Autism Project has a mission to promote the acceptance and integration of individuals worldwide by training communities in culturally relevant, sustainable practices! I am excited to participate and contribute to their mission. Please help me by donating and sharing this with others who may want to make an impact to support this mission.
This project has a mission to create sustainability in other countries that do not have as many resources for children/adolescents on the autism spectrum as America does. Having autism professionals travel to these sites helps the kids acquire skills, increase quality of life, and train the staff for sustainability across time.
I will be responsible for the flights, transportation in country, food, and personal supplies for this 2 week venture.
Thank you so much!!
