Hi everyone! Welcome to my Crowdrise Fundraising page! I am so excited to be traveling with Skillscorp and the Global Autism Project.
I will be traveling to the Netherlands in February 2020. This is an amazing opportunity to share my skills as a Registered Behavior Technician and help bring awareness to autism around the globe.
The Global Autism Project helps bring awareness and acceptance of people with Autism to countries around the world. They are also working on creating sustainable change.
I‘d like to invite you to become a part of this movement! Please consider donating to my campaign to help me make positive change in the lives of children on the Autism Spectrum!
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
About 20% of the $5,000 goes towards the following:
*accommodation in Brooklyn, NY during my 2 day orientation before leaving for the Netherlands
*2 meals per day in NY
*1 meal per day while in the Netherlands
*transportation to the airport in NYC, work related transportation in the Netherlands
The remaining 80% of the $5,000 goes directly to maintaining the existing global autism centers in keeping their centers staffed and running.
WHAT I WILL BE PAYING FOR MYSELF?
I will be paying for my flight to NY, to the Netherlands, and back home from the Netherlands. I will also be paying for the remaining meals that are not covered and any excursions and extras while abroad.
Thank you for your donation!
SkillCorps team members travel to Global Autism Project partner sites -- all over the world! SkillCorps teams are made up of skilled professionals and Autistic self-advocates working in the field of autism education. Our teams are trained and prepared to support educators, leaders, parents, and advocates working in their own communities. SkillCorps is an innovative travel and training program which encourages collaboration, cultural exchange and understanding, with a focus on sustainable impact. We believe that local people will lead the way in activating acceptance and opportunity for people with autism in their own communities, and our SkillCorps teams are there to support them every step of the way!
